A moment later, Harmony lightly added, “But don’t worry, Patrick doesn’t want to marry her at all, and no one knows whether the woman is alive or dead. Their engagement was only set up by their parents and had nothing to do with them. But still, you might have to face it one day.”
Harmony winked at her and continued, “But if you clash with that fiancée in the future, I’ll be on your side. Don’t worry too much. Your design won me over.”
With that, Harmony walked over to Lovell. They said goodbye to Patrick and left the castle.
Soon, the staff had packed Patrick and Juliette’s belongings and loaded them into the car.
“Stuart just said that something urgent came up and he won’t be leaving with us, Patrick. We can take the things back to the villa first,” Henry said.
Patrick nodded slightly, and everyone got into the car, left the castle, and headed for Patrick’s villa.
Because Louis was in the car, Juliette was not comfortable asking Patrick about his fiancée, so she only talked about some unimportant things along the way.
The entrance to the villa was empty, with no pedestrians.
Henry, who was in another truck carrying the goods, called Patrick. “Drive your car directly into the parking lot. I’m afraid reporters are hiding nearby and will stop you when you get out of the car.”
Patrick hummed in affirmation and prepared to drive the car into the underground parking lot.
However, at that moment, an old woman led her granddaughter and blocked the entrance of Patrick’s villa.
Patrick slammed on the brakes, and the wheels rubbed against the ground, producing a piercing sound.
In an instant, countless reporters swarmed in from all directions and surrounded Patrick’s car, making it impossible for the car to move an inch further.
Countless flashes lit up outside the car window.
The harsh afternoon sunlight glared through, causing discomfort.
Patrick narrowed his eyes and realized that the reporters used the old lady to force him to stop.
They had correctly assumed that he wouldn’t dare to barge past an elderly woman and a child.
Withdrawing his gaze indifferently, Patrick took out a black bucket hat from the drawer and handed it to Juliette. “I prepared this for you. Put it on.”
Juliette raised her eyebrows. He didn’t ask why she was afraid of temperatures, but he was always ready to cut off all heat sources for her.
She obediently put on her hat, and the light from the window shone on it.
“They have to get some answers before they leave. Staying in the car is not the solution. I’ll go down and deal with them. You guys stay in the car and don’t get out until it’s safe,” Patrick said.
Juliette held Louis in her arms and nodded at him.

Patrick smiled at her and thought, ‘She is so well–behaved, and she is holding my son.
At this moment, he felt that the reporters outside were not so annoying.
However, Henry’s call came in again. “Patrick, don’t move. I’m worried that they will tear you apart if you go down now. Wait for me to arrange for someone to protect you, and then you can take them down.”
Patrick’s voice was clear and pleasant, “Okay.”
Two minutes later, eight bodyguards in black suits made their way through the crowd of reporters.
Patrick opened the car door, and a black parasol popped out.
He opened it, walked to the back, escorted Juliette and Louis out of the car, and held the black parasol over Juliette’s head.
Now, even the sunlight couldn’t reach her.
Juliette was touched by his thoughtfulness and let him hold her hand tightly as she held Louis’s hand and walked towards home.
The flashes became even more frequent, almost without pause.
The reporters seemed to want to break through the barrier of bodyguards and crash into Patrick and the others.
Fortunately, the sturdy bodyguards kept them firmly protected in the middle.
The reporters‘ microphones were almost poking at them.
Patrick simply stood still, his noble eyes sweeping over the crowd, and the crowd suddenly fell silent.
Juliette was surprised that he was frightening enough to silence the crowd.
When his gaze swept over, a reporter asked, “Patrick, why did you marry Juliette?
“Countless fans are heartbroken because you got married. Aren’t you worried that they will all unfollow you?”
The reporters were still jostling, each one of them vying for the best spot.
Hundreds of microphones stretched toward Patrick, all waiting for his answer.
While some were responsible for interviewing, others were responsible for live broadcasting.
Patrick glanced around before answering slowly, “First of all, before I met Juliette, I had never been in love, nor had I ever thought about getting married. ·
“But after I met Juliette, I never considered anyone else for marriage. Isn’t it only natural to marry the woman you love? It just so happened that she wanted to break off her previous engagement, and I wanted to get married, so we got together.”
His voice was pleasant like a clear spring hitting a stone.
Patrick continued, “As for those fans who unfollow me–I have always defined myself as an actor. I try my best to play every role I have. These are all things I can control, but what I cannot control are other people’s opinion of me. I cannot impose my sincerity as an actor on those who do not need it.”
What he meant was that those who truly liked him would continue to like him, and he wouldn’t change himself to make everyone like him.

“If losing some fans is the price I have to pay for getting married, then I will accept it, Patrick said in a resounding voice.
No one knew what else to say about this.
Then, the third question followed
A reporter asked Juliette, ‘Mrs. Clarke, we just learned that your mother committed suicide by cutting her wrists because she was stimulated by your behavior. Don’t you feel guilty as a daughter for hurting your loving mother like this?”
All the cameras and eyes were locked on Juliette’s face, and people were hostile to her.
A coldness flashed through Juliette’s eyes as she thought. She committed suicide? What on earth did I do when I was eighteen that my mother always tried to hurt me? I have to get to the bottom of this.
Juliette was not afraid to face the reporters at all.
She asked, “I just refuse to be a puppet in the hands of Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn, why should I feel guilty?
“They knew that Finn betrayed me and hurt me, but they didn’t stand up to protect me and even wanted to push me into the fire pit. They ignored my feelings, yet they didn’t feel guilty, so why should I?”
