Walking out of Lily Hotel, Barbara looked around guiltily. Only after not seeing any acquaintances did she finally relieved.
Having lunch with her husband and worrying about being seen by others, she felt that it was rather ridiculous when s
recalled it later on.
Barbara relieved helpless. If she knew that Leo would turn out to be the new CEO of the Wing, would she have married him so easily?
At this moment, Barbara could not give herself an answer to this question, nor was she willing to think too much of it.
Returning back to her office, Barbara received a notice from the department manager, telling some colleagues in charge of the bidding project to prepare properly. In the afternoon, they would discuss the project with CEO.
The Grand was a game development company and also a subsidiary of the Smith Group, a famous enterprise in London.
The Smith Group was one of the top enterprises in the country. There were a lot of companies that wanted to cooperate with them. Winning out from dozens of bidding companies was not easy.
The Grand was the most important project for the Wing this year. Leo had just become the new CEO, it was understandable that he would pay attention to the development of the project, but Barbara felt a little uneasy.
She was already restless due to Leo’s disturbance. She still had to work with him in the afternoon, so she was worried that her work would be affected by him.
Barbara and her colleagues had reached the meeting room in advance and had prepared all the information they needed, but they were still in suspense.
“Barbara…” Emily went close to Barbara’s ear and whispered, “Everyone knows your ability, don’t worry too much.”
Barbara pursed her lips and laughed, but did not say anything.
Emily was also one of the members in the project team, but she was a girl who spoke sweetly did not work seriously, thus Barbara was in charge of a lot of things.

Barbara was the person in charge of this group. She had the most responsibility, and would always have more concerns than
others.
Furthermore, this was the first project that Barbara had worked on since she took office. Other than wanting to achieve good results at work, she also wanted to leave a good impression on her husband. In the future, when she lived with Leo, she definitely cannot let him look down on her.

It was unknown who shouted, but everyone immediately looked toward the door of the conference room. So did Barbara.
She looked up and saw Leo leading his two assistants and walking in gracefully.

At lunchtime, Leo was dressed in casual attire, but he had changed into a handmade, silver–grey suit, a white shirt with a bottom edge, and a blue and white striped tie.
“Hello, Chairman Leo!”
Everyone stood up and greeted Leo.
“Everyone, please take a seat.” Leo said indifferently, then sat on the main seat and indicated Todd to start the meeting.
Leo didn’t even glance at her as she relieved.
In fact, from yesterday and this morning, she could see that Leo had been much more serious than her on public and private attitude.
Since Barbara was the leader of the team, she would naturally be the one to introduce the details of the preparations for the project.
Because she worked diligently, many of the details were done personally by her. When she analyzed the specific situation to the group of executives, including Chief Executive Officer, Barbara was not nervous.
Not only was she not nervous, she was very good at it.
At the end, Barbara received a lot of applause.
Just as she was about to bend over to express her thanks. She looked up when Leo looked at her waywardly.
Seeing Barbara looking at him, Leo smiled at her politely.

than him.
Leo looked calm and cold. He didn’t care about anything, making everyone feel slightly nervous.
But luckily she was fully prepared, and Leo confirmed the work of her group. It was successful.
At the end of the meeting, the project team members were very excited and forgot all the executives for a while as they walked.
Jack put his hand on Barbara’s shoulder, “Barbara, if we can take down the Grand, this project, is truly incomparably honorable.”
Barbara was also happy, for a moment she did not notice how intimate they looked, and she nodded with a smile, “As long as we work hard together, there is nothing that is impossible.”

Jannie had worked under Leo for many years, so she was naturally very clear on what Leo was currently thinking.
The CEO went to Barbara for the work, and the other members were all smart enough to quickly find an excuse to slip away, leaving Barbara alone by Leo’s side.

Hearing Barbara’s words, Leo frowned slightly, he was obviously a little angry.

After a while, he said seriously, “Barbara, although I am very clear that you are not related to that man, but seeing him embrace you intimately, as your husband, I will be jealous.”

Leo watched as Barbara entered the elevator, and looked even colder.
“Chairman Leo, there are still a few documents that I need you to take a look at.” Jannie timely warned.
Leo walked towards his office and coldly said, “Are all you women so strong?”
