But in the end, they felt that Barcelona, this new big international city, was not bad too. Freda and Barbara settled down together, and they took out all their money to open a bridal design studio. 

Barbara needed money, accurately speaking, she thought that no matter how intimate they were, she couldn’t rely on anyone. Only money could give her a sense of security. She needed an extra job to earn money, so she entered into the Wing. Thus, she just invested and didn’t participate in the management of the bridal design room. 

But Freda knew that this was only one of the reasons, the real reason was because Barbara was no longer willing to draw a wedding drawing board with a brush, so Barbara chose to work in a job that was completely out of the field of painting. 

It was a wound that Barbara had buried the deepest in her heart, and even now, no one had been able to help her heal it. 

In the front of Freda, Barbara had absolutely no privacy at all. 

She had wanted to ask Freda out this weekend to discuss the matter of his marriage with her, but unexpectedly, Freda had gone ahead of time to find her at her rented place. 

Barbara listened quietly, and after Freda finished roaring, she said softly, “Freda, don’t worry, I’m fine. The work on the Grand Project will be done this Friday. I’ll treat you to a meal during the weekend.” 

Freda shouted angrily, “Stupid girl, you scared me, do you think a meal can compensate me for my mental loss?” 

Barbara knew that Freda was kind, and could not help laughing, “Then, how about sleeping with you for a night to 

compensate you?” 

When Barbara said this, the moment Leo opened the door and walked in, he already knew who Barbara was talking to on the phone. 

Barbara was usually warm and gentle. She seemed to be close to anyone, but in reality, the only person that could get close to her was Freda. 

Leo knew about all this, but Barbara did not know about it. 

She quickly covered her cell phone and whispered, “This is my female friend.” 

Regardless of whether or not she loved him, in the name of husband and wife, she would not do something that would make Leo jealous. 

Leo nodded and did not ask too much. 

However, Barbara thought that Leo did not believe her. She pursed her lips and laughed helplessly, maybe he thought that she was the wantonly woman. 

“Barbara, Barbara…” She did not hear Barbara’s words, but Freda shouted out, “Give me the address, I’ll go and look for you.” 

Barbara knew that Freda was worried about her. If she didn’t let Freda see that she was fine today, she would definitely call the police to find her. 

Barbara smiled gently, “Stop messing around, I’ll go find you.” 

After hanging up, Barbara packed up simply and prepared to stay over with Freda for the night and honestly explain the matter of registering for the marriage.

She knocked on the door of the study and heard Leo’s permission before she pushed the door and entered, “Leo, I’m going over to Freda’s place tonight, I’m not coming back.” 

Leo immediately stood up, “I’ll drive you there.” 

Barbara shook her head, “No need to trouble you.” 

Leo stared at her, “It’s too late, I can’t be at case going out by yourself.” 

His tone sounded very unyielding, making Barbara unable to refuse. 

Leo’s car was a Range Rover. For someone like him, a car wasn’t considered expensive, but it was spacious and comfortable. 

Leo drove the car very safely, and he also looked steady. 

Leo asked her for the address, and after Barbara gave him the address, they did not have any other conversations. 

After almost an hour, they reached. Barbara thanked him and was about to open the car door, but Leo reached out and grabbed her. 

“Barbara…” His voice sounded low, sexy and always pleasant when he called her name. 

Barbara glanced at his hand, then looked up. She asked him softly, “Is there anything else?” 

He let her go and said somewhat uncomfortably, “Are you angry?” 

Barbara laughed, “Why should I be angry?” 

Leo, “…” 

Barbara opened her car door and got off, then stood outside and said, “Quickly go back, drive carefully.” 

Leo nodded, started the car and left. 

After watching him car drive off for a distance, Barbara turned around and walked towards the direction of Freda’s residential area. 

When they first arrived at Barcelona, Barbara and Freda lived together. 

After that, Barbara went to work at the Wing, and because it was too far away, she moved to a nearby company to rent a 

house. 

After Barbara moved away, Freda stayed in the house and especially left a room for her. As Freda said, she wanted Barbara to go back to her home and take a look anytime. 

Seeing that Barbara was fine in front of her, Freda couldn’t be bothered with her anymore. She hugged her IPAD and watched 

the series. 

Freda ignored her, but her pomeranian pounced at Barbara’s feet, kissing and wagging its tail. It was obviously overjoyed. 

Barbara casually threw away her bag, and picked up the little guy, “Em, do you miss your mother?” 

It cries as it crawled into Barbara’s embrace, using its action to show how much it missed her mother. 

Freda looked over in dissatisfaction, “Em, you little glutton! Even though you are her biological, I have raised you for more time than she has. It’s fine if you don’t want to kiss me, but instead, you have to show your love in front of me.

Barbara walked to Freda and said proudly, “Honey is a smart guy, and knows who’s the mother and who’s the stepmother.” 

“I’m a stepmother?” Freda threw the IPAD into her embrace and said arrogantly, “Girl, be careful that I might poison your daughter.” 

Barbara still did not speak, and her Honey continued to bark to express its dissatisfaction with Freda. 

Seeing such a cute dog, Barbara was overjoyed. She rubbed its face gently, saying, “My daughter is still the most considerate of 

me.” 

Freda blinked at Barbara, “If you want your daughter, then find a man to marry to, and marry him as much as you want to.” 

Barbara looked at Freda and suddenly said seriously, “Freda, I’ve registered the marriage.” 

“Get off!” Freda pointed at the door, but quickly realized that Barbara would not make such a joke towards her. It took a long time for her to say anything, “Of course, who is that man?” 

Barbara said, “It’s that man called Leo that you introduced to me last time.” 

“Leo?” Freda scratched her head, and seriously recalled the name, thinking for a long time but not having the slightest impression, “The person I introduced you to, is not someone called Leo.”
